SLC to Memphis & New Orleans
A 14 day / 4,500 mile solo motorcycle ride that looped clockwise through the midwest and the south.
I made a semi last minute trip to visit friends in Memphis as well as surprise my Mom in Dallas. Of course, since I was on a motorcycle, I didn't want to take the direct route, so I plotted a course based upon some spots that I have always wanted to go to, such as Devils Tower, Sturgis / Black Hills, SD, Badlands and New Orleans.
In the proper style of adventure, a couple other opportunities and locations happened. For example, the opportunity came up to go to the 2022 Memphis Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony which included the appearance and or performances from Booker T. Jones, Ronnie Milsap, Priscilla Presley and Robert Plant. And to add the cherry on top, I had the pleasure to go with Tony Holiday and John Németh.
